A new study suggests that music could help reduce the risk of developing dementia, a group of cognitive disorders that cause a decline in memory, thinking, and other mental abilities. It impacts about 57 million people worldwide.

According to an article by Fox News, researchers in Australia found that adults over 70 who regularly listen to music had a 39 percent lower risk of developing dementia, and those who play music have a 35 percent lower risk.
