The Sunshine State is well-known as a retirement haven, with many of its cities and towns drawing new residents. Here are five communities that offer what some people believe is the best of the senior lifestyle. They’ve been rated by Summit Wealth Group on the overall quality of life, retiree activities, crime rate, and scenic attractiveness.

  • Venice: It has a reasonable cost of living and small-town character, plus wonderful beaches and gorgeous sunsets.
  • Palm Beach: A playground for the wealthy on the Atlantic Coast. It provides a luxurious environment for retirees with wonderful beaches, as well as elegant shopping and nightlife.
  • Naples: An upscale Gulf coast town with beautiful beaches, fishing, golf, and great shopping.
  • The Villages: A planned retirement community just an hour northwest of Orlando. It’s a golfer’s paradise that boasts plenty of other activities as well.
  • Punta Gorda: It has plenty of parks, wonderful restaurants, and also has a charming downtown.

Council of Seniors Knows You Need More for Retirement

Council of Seniors is working hard to get Congress to pass The SAVE Benefits Act. Politicians need to make up for the annual Social Security cost of living adjustment (COLA) that just hasn’t kept pace with rising costs. Once passed, eligible seniors will receive the $581 that’s been missing for years.

By signing our petition today, you’ll join other Americans in showing Washington politicians the time to act is now!
