It won’t be long before Halloween arrives. And some adults love Halloween as much as kids do. Now’s the time to start planning the right costume to wear to a party, greet trick-or-treaters, or liven up an assisted living facility.

Here are ideas for easy Halloween costumes for seniors:

Have some fun and dress up as the Crazy Cat Lady. Find cat stuffed animals and pin them to an old bathrobe.

Just because you’re in a wheelchair doesn’t mean you can’t have fun. Decorate it to look like a NASCAR favorite or a go-kart. Top it off with a costume to match.

Of course, some people like to mimic someone famous. You might find things in the closet that can help you look like Queen Elizabeth, Colonel Sanders, or even Abe Lincoln. Use your imagination to decide the right persona.

Finally, everyone loves a Superhero. You can find the right costume on Amazon or at a costume shop.

You’re never too old for trick or treat!

Council of Seniors Wants You to Have More Treats

With high inflation, extra income is a treat. That’s one reason why here at Council of Seniors, we’re totally dedicated to getting Congress to pass The SAVE Benefits Act. This bill is necessary to make up for insufficient Social Security cost-of-living adjustments (COLAs) from several recent years. The sum of $581 was withheld from deserving seniors. This bill will ensure that money gets returned.

Signing our petition shows you know the importance of this issue. Congress must learn how many people support this bill.
