Retirement brings a wealth of travel opportunities for seniors that meet both personal interests and budgets. Travel professionals have identified special destinations attracting retirees in 2021.

Those seeking tropical beach settings will find great spots in the U.S. and nearby. Florida offers the cosmopolitan allure of Miami Beach as well as the offbeat, island feel of Key West. In the Caribbean, Nevis in the British West Indies provides the ultimate peaceful tropical getaway.

At the other end of the outdoors spectrum is Alaska, a northern wilderness full of wildlife and unparalleled scenic sights such as mountains, waterfalls, and glaciers.

Some retirees prefer a motoring adventure. It’s hard to beat what many believe is the most unique drive in America:  The Pacific Coast Highway in California running from San Simeon to Carmel. America’s West offers compelling destinations in Sedona, Arizona, and Santa Fe, New Mexico.

More adventurous travelers looking for a European experience will find it in the Douro River region in Portugal. It boasts a scenic train excursion through Portugal’s wine country, one of the oldest wine regions in the world.

All will make you want to pack your bags now!

Council of Seniors Wants to Put Money in Your Pocket

Extra income during retirement makes more travel possible. That’s why Council of Seniors wants Congress to pass The SAVE Benefits Act. We’re making this effort to recover the Social Security cost of living adjustment (COLA) money that was withheld from seniors for years by greedy Washington politicians and insiders. If passed, eligible seniors would be reimbursed $581, which is money they’re entitled to.

If you sign our petition, you’ll help demonstrate how many people support this bill.
