As you age, you might become a little forgetful, and your memory may seem a little foggy. While it’s natural to feel that way, there are things you can do to maximize your mental sharpness.

The senior rehabilitation specialists at The Grand Healthcare say your brain and overall mental (and physical) health will benefit if you:

  1. Exercise, eat healthy, and get enough sleep
  2. Drink in moderation
  3. Avoid stress and stay calm
  4. Make new friends
  5. Play video games to sharpen your abilities
  6. Listen to music to ease your mind and spark memories
  7. Take on challenging activities such as playing chess or board games, learning a new language, and reading to learn new things.

Council of Seniors Wants Stronger Benefits

You should have the means to enjoy your retirement however you choose. That’s just one reason why here at Council of Seniors, we’re dedicated to getting Congress to pass The SAVE Benefits Act. This bill will help make up for inadequate Social Security cost-of-living adjustments (COLAs) that have shortchanged seniors over a series of years. Once passed, the $581 that was withheld from seniors will be returned.

Please sign our petition without delay. Let’s give Washington politicians a wake-up call about how many people support this bill.
