Seniors can find the right travel experience through travel organizations catering specifically to people 50 years and older. Retirement brings more free time to enjoy the world around you.

Travel and Leisure surveyed the travel industry to identify senior-friendly travel groups that offer trips custom-designed for both independent and group travel.

Tours can be arranged for those still physically active seeking cycling, walking, and hiking adventures, as well as those looking for opportunities of a more educational or historical nature.

Trips can be customized to fit budgets from economy up to luxury experiences, and they focus on both American and international travel.

Extra Money Makes Travel Easier

If you’re planning on traveling during retirement, you’ll want to have extra money in your pocket. Here at Council of Seniors, we’re working nonstop to get Congress to pass The SAVE Benefits Act. This bill is needed to make up for the lack of Social Security cost of living adjustments (COLAs) in several recent years. If it passes, seniors will be reimbursed for $581 that wasn’t paid.

Signing our petition today is the best way you can help us get it passed.
