With the approach of New Year’s Day, seniors may look back on past New Year’s Eve celebrations. There’s no reason why they shouldn’t look at how they can celebrate it now, even if it doesn’t mean staying up past midnight.

Here are some New Year’s party ideas for ensuring your guests will have a memorable and fun time:

  1. Find new party games to play
  2. Host a murder mystery party
  3. Hold a time-period party and dress accordingly
  4. Take a walk down memory lane
  5. Have a “dream job” party and dress up to match it
  6. Enjoy the perfect New Year’s Eve party with all the right decorations
  7. Prepare a New Year’s Day brunch

Combining past memories with enjoying the company of today’s friends will mean a lot of fun to ring in a new year. The trick is to plan ahead and get all the accessories and refreshments lined up in advance.

The New Year Should be Bright

Here at Council of Seniors, we’re pushing hard for Congress to pass The SAVE Benefits Act and give seniors more help next year. This bill is needed to make up for insufficient Social Security cost-of-living adjustments (COLAs) that withheld $581 from seniors. If passed, that money will finally be returned.

Sign our petition without delay and join other Americans in showing Washington politicians how many people support this bill.
